Dixie Woodland Fern

Dixie Woodland fern, Dryopteris x australis... thinking of putting some in the raised bed in front, next to my house. I have Lady in Red Lady Fern doing well in the spot now, up to 32" high, that i planted last August, want to move in a more distict fern that is semi-evergreen, less messy looking. interested in Dryopteris now... maybe i should just leave well enough alone thou

Anybody have any pics of what Dixie Fern looks like now, how tall it gets in reality, does it keep a neat appearance if well cared for...

if i plant some now, how tall should it get next year? when does it start going "vertical"?
