Is this a mushroom

| While I was weeding I found this in my yard. It looks for all the world like the fingers on a rubber glove poking up from the ground. I'm kind of embarassed, hoping it's NOT a rubber glove, but does anybody think it's a plant of some kind? I didn't want to disturb it until I know what it is.

| It's one of the many stinkhorn mushrooms. You ought to be able to smell it by now, but if not....just you wait! ;-) Post another picture of it in a day or two and we can identify it better for you. |
