Can someone identify this mushroom

Found this in Michoacan yesterday while riding my ATV on the base slopes of a mountain... i only kept the cap... BUT

it stood about 1 foot tall, in the picture the cap is anywhere from 4-5 inches wide the stem was skinny and white.. really smooth with a annulus... the gills are white (in the picture they're semi brown but because it started drying)... and the gills dont connect with the stalk... it goes directly to the middle of the cap and the gills sorta "U" inbetween...

im currrently drying the cap, i'll let yous know later what color the spores are
