That is great! It looks like you often find mosses growing with other plants at nurseries? I see all the notes about vermiculite killing many of the mosses too.

I have a very simple moss and fern garden grown with local plants. It takes a surprising about of weeding.

Yeah I have read many posts that focus on weeding moss
patches. It sounds like a big hassle. I, too, have that
problem but with some weeds in my little pots of mosses.
I pinch them out when they are small weeds with my fingers
or a forceps and hopefully will get the entire plant, roots and all, especially of the grass weeds.
I think the best way to control weeds in moss patches on the ground is to control them in the areas surrounding the patch. This should pretty well keep any down to a minimum in the moss garden.
