| Hi, I am new to this forum. I have read somewhere that some mushroom can be grown in coffee grind. I have never read any details about it, only some people claim they have done that... I have been collecting coffee grind at work and put them in compose. Now My compose bin is full and I don't want to dump coffee grind outside everyday in winter time. It will be nice to use these office waste in different way...such as grow mushroom...
I would appreciate if anyone here can provide more details/steps in terms of what type of mushroom grows in coffee grind; Pure coffee grind substrata or has to be mixed with other grow medium; what are the environmental requirements; Dos and Don'ts; and where I can get some decent quality spawn with decent price in Chicago area, etc. I also access threaded office paper, will mushroom grows in paper too? Thank you very much for you help. |
