Hi.
This "moss" (I am not sure it is moss because it has lots of leaves) bases it's main roots in the gaps of stone walls which are very wet. With time might make a kind of a blanket covering the entire wall (such as moss does in the ground).
I am not finding it anywhere in books.
Could anyone help me or tell me how to proceed with the investigation to find it's name?
I don't know how to upload images here so I uploaded them to a site of mine: agilitas.pt/moss/DSCN0829.JPG or other pictures: agilitas.pt/moss
thanks in advance,
lab

RE: Anyone knows this moss with leaves (I guess it is moss)?
To upload images you need to use the html coding found at this link: img src coding
Using this coding here is your image:
It looks like you may have two kinds of liverworts: a thalloid one which is the main one and a leafy one though this could be a moss species. Check this goggle link for thalloid liverworts. Goggle
I am sorry I thought the forum would mail me on post activity but mabe I have to set up how to follow the thread.
Thank you for your help. Yes, it is definitely a liverwort - a thalloid one. About being a Conocephalum, well, mabe. Meanwhile, I uploaded some macros:
I don't know why but it looks like they get some stripes - so I uploaded also a zip with all the 3 of them: http://www.agilitas.pt/moss/RB0_0319.zip
