Hanging Stag Horn Fern

I just purchased a Stag Horn Fern. It is in a slated wooden box. It was hanging sideways in the nursery by one corner of the box. Was this done just for display? Do I hang in sideways or should I hang it with the fern on top of the box, by the four corners? Any help would be appreciated.

Hi
I personally, like to grow them in a vertical position as you can see them better and allows more room to expand.
I think this also allows for better drainage. Will probably grow just as well the other way. So please yourself lol.
Wilma decided mine looked a lot better 3 houses away.lol
Afraid I'm going to lose it after all these years.
