| I do not think so but ?? check the link below as you really need to see certain features up close and your images do not provide that kind of detail. To me the plant should look rope-like with the leaves closely held to the stems and each other and they are not on the plants pictured above. |

| Thanks terrestrialman. I am attaching here a closeup picture of the leaf tips that show a twist in the leaf tips as described in your Ohio reference (and other diagnostic references to the mosses). You can see the twist in the 2nd picture I first put up. I believe you are looking at Bryoandersonia. Don't you now agree? |
