anyone grown Dryopteris wallichiana east of the Rockies?

After last winter, I'm somewhat curtailing my purchase of marginal plants, but when I saw a supposedly hardier form of Dryopteris wallichiana at Far Reaches, I could not resist.

Some people might say our hot, muggy summers will be a problem, but after Woodwardia fimbriatas grew like crazy for me last summer...I suspect that, as long as it's consistently humid (and it certainly is here in summer)...very few ferns of commerce are going to be bothered by heat with moisture.

I think my only bump in the road might be whether it's really fully zn 7 hardy. I don't hold it against them, but the Woodwardia unigemmeta I bought from them a couple years ago definitely was not fully zn 7 hardy. Died completely under snow cover; while the Woodwardia fimbriatas still at least had a bit of green in their fronds, but ultimately succumbed.
