RE: Overwintering Kimberley Queen

Haven't tried yet, but my friend has one about 15 years old. She cuts it back to almost soil level, gives a good watering, and stores in her garage until spring. At that time, she pulls it out, waters & feeds very heavy, and it does very well. I'm trying this year with mine. Good luck!

I appreciate your response. When does she do this? the ferns are lush and green now. We have had some frost but no damage. Does she wait until hard freeze, the fern going brown and dormant, now while green? It sounds like yours/hers are in pots as are mine........if in the ground, does she still follow your suggestion? thnx for your help. Jim
