Moss, Ferns & Cryptogams

Anyone help with ID?

I've been trying to ID this fern for quite some time unsuccesfully. If anyone can help that would be great. It sits in our living room with no direct sunlight and seems to be doing ok. Not much new growth though. Any growing tips would also be welcomed. Thank you.

Appears to be one of the Pteris species, Maybe Pteris vittata.

I also agree that it is definitely a Chamaedorea.

They're palms that enjoy understory-like conditions--bright light, warm temps, and moist (not soggy wet) soils indoors.

Can be slowly acclimated to full sun IN WINTER (ie. east window to then south window) so tht growth in the house doesn't get sparse or slow way down. Otherwise, keep it just out of the reach of direct sunlight in any window and it'll really turn into a nice, lush, fat specimen.
