Platycerium hybrids

Hi all,

Can Platycerium hybrids produce viable spores and will the spores produce offspring that are the same as the parent or will they display variation?

If I would like to hybridise 2 species of Platycerium, do I simply sew the spores together in the same container?

I would recommend mixing the spores on a sheet of paper first. Then dust it evenly over the media.
