Maiden Hair Fern - please help

Hi,

My maiden hair fern is doing just about okay in my tiny little, sunlight starved, new york apartment. I have only recently noticed tiny, thin, silver looking insects in the soil. Unfortunately, I have no gardening experience, so could someone please tell me what I could do to fix this?

curious, look up Silverfish pictures under google or something similar...if the soil is damp maybee there are a few in there...Tom in NWPA

If they are silverfish, they won't cause harm to your plant...at least not that I've heard. They eat crumbs around the house, mostly.
