name this mushroom! (winter is just fine for the fungi)

I posted this first in "Name That Plant" forum instead of here - oops.

Here I was going to my morning class, and spied some huge growths in the bushes.
Is this oyster mushroom? Not enough info to id? This mushroom's a pretty hardy "gui" given that it's middle of winter!
Maybe I can get some spores/flesh samples and grow it in coffee grind!

yep, looks like oysters to me. In my experience the smaller the tastier. Try only a small amount at first.
