| Hello, I'm attempting to find out the name of a fern-like plant I got at a Swedish florist today. Someone else suggested that it could be a resurrection plant (perhaps a false rose of jericho), but while I see some similarities in Googling I'm not quite sure and would really appreciate some thoughts from those who are more knowledgeable than me (which is probably everyone on this forum). I took several photos of the plant and added some notes here. Thanks in advance for your help. |
Here is a link that might be useful: Photos of the plant

| Update: I believe someone IDed this correctly as the Selaginella kraussiana or "Frosty fern" - does this sound right? |
|
| Definitely Selaginella, but not S. kraussiana. Have a look at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Selaginella and try the different species listede some have good pictures. As far as i Know the species commonly sold as a house plant is S. martensii or S. moellendorffii. |
