I have 3 Boston ferns that are about 3 yrs old. I trimmed back all the dead fronds and watered well today. Is that okay? Won't that help them come back healthier and thicker in the spring?

RE: Boston Ferns

In the spring??? How about next week? You might be able to slow it down but a Boston fern just keeps on growing unless you dry it out, which kills it or drop temps way down, which allows it to develop rot. Bring it out where it can breathe and enjoy it. Sandy
