Hello,

One of my artemisia powis castle has what I believe is cottony cushion scale and has lost all of its leaves at the center of the plant. It still has leaves on the outer portion of the plant - but I am not sure how long it can hold out. This artemisia is near the front of my house and looks unsightly - what can I do to get rid of the scale - I hate to lose the plant - it was looking so good in the summer? I tried spraying vigorously with water - but the plant is still suffering - I don't usually use any chemicals - but if necessary I will do so to save the plant.
