Carnations

leopardlady

Hi. I tried some carnation seed and because of the dreadfully hot summer, they did not grow last year. I am trying to find some large carnations that will bloom much of the year, preferably the plants and not the seed. I have seen Dianthus that will bloom from spring to frost, but they do not look very big. I really would like the large ones you get from the florist for a cutting garden.

I live in Mi and carnations are very difficult to find around here. Last year HD had some but they were the very small ones.

Thank you!
