Thank you for your reply. I will check that site out. I have been busy clearing saplings, briars and brush from a creek bank where, over 20 years ago, we planted azaleas and a large rhododendron. We are also hoping to grow the fledgling wedding business we have started very slowly. We plan to put a split rail fence along the bank and tree line that overlooks the creek area and probably will plant Knock Out Roses there as they pretty much take care of themselves once established. Wish I could plant some flowers there as well but whatever is there will have to make do during our hot summers with little watering, feeding and pampering.

My favorite is Benary giant zinnia⦠the colors are fantastic, and theyâÂÂve got great vase life. I do pinch asap, but other than that they do great on their own... I'm not familiar with giant cactus... I'll have to look those up!

I love dahlias as well for cut flowers⦠and are nice since the (well, here in PA) bloom season picks up when other stuff is dying down.
