Should I pick Persian Carpet or Old Mexico?

Was wondering which of the mexican sunflowers would be better for cutting. What are the differences between the two? I like the chocolate-maroon shades they both show but are there really any differences between them? Or are both sufficiently different in form? Anybody know?

I get both and plant half of a 3' x 25' bed in each and that works for lots of blooms. You do need to pinch them and then the first few cuts are short, then they take off.

I use them in canning jars and small vase arrangements. They last about 10-12 days!
