Most all of the florist use a plant they call coffee beans. It has red or green berries and is very attractive in arrangements. I don't think it really is coffee beans but the seed of some other plant.
It is also called hypericion(sp?). Any one know if you can grow this and how would I get a start?

Sorry I found a similiar post with the name spelled right.

RE: Coffee Bean?

It is hypericum or St. John's wort. There is a shrub and ground cover form - get the shrub form. Someone else on the forum probably knows where to get a good hybrid developed for its better berry production.
