Postharvest Handling Question

Hi to Everyone here. I am new here. My DH and I bought three acres in a beautiful rural area and I have begun preparing to plant flowers. I have a good plan, a good list of things to grow (got it right here from previous posts I read every day), plenty of seeds, most of the right supplies and I don't have much trouble growing things. My problem begins with the postharvest and prep for market. I tried to pull up FAQ's for cut flowers but did not see one.

Would someone suggest a good source on the web, a book, a periodical or give me some of their own advice and experiences on when and how to prepare for market? Some of the questions specifically are.....do you use the cellophane sleeves for your bouquets? What do you use to keep the stems in that you sell individually? Do you use many flowers in a bouquet, a few flowers, what kind of fillers?

I need help.

Thanks!

Grimmy
