Now that I have all my seeds in and some germinating, I have a few more $ to spend (tax refund). I still need to get all the veggie and herbs seeds though.

Here is my woody list.

Boxwood

Buddleia

Caryopteris: Longwood, Dark Knight

Chaenomeles (quince): Cameo, Jet Trail,

Forsythia: Lynwood

Ilex Verticillata (Holly)

Mahonia (Oregon Grape Holly)

Salix: Matsudona, Scarlet Curls, Chaenomeloides (Japanese PW), Melanostchys (Black PW), Rubykins, French and Fantail

Already have tons of dogwood, rosehip, manzanita, wild pussywillow and birch.

Now I just need to finish next weeks powerpoint presentation for the AG conference. Trish thanks for the pictures. I will send you a copy of the presentation.

Tim, Great to see you back on line! I was wondering about you with all the fires you guys had down south. How is the orchard? I really wish we could have some of your weather.

Thanks.

Hey Bryan,
Do you know of a wholesale source for all those willows you grow?

Do the salix require more watering than the other woodies the first year after planting? How about later on?

Thanks.
Marcia

Marcia, I get some from Lawyer. Most are from cuttings from other peoples trees.

If you are cutting heavy every year, I would give them more water. Once they get established they don't need much water, maybe once a week.

Here is the URL for lawyer. www.lawyernursery.com

Bryan,
What is the variety of rose you use for your rosehips and do you have a source for those roses? FYI eucalyptus grows like a weed and makes a great cut.
