Looking for inspiration

I am finally trying to create flyers for our visitors bureau, the welcome center and the National Heritage area about the U-pick flower farm.

I know I could hire a graphic designer to do this -- but I would rather spend the money on more flowers or supplies!

Does anyone have a flyer and can they tell me about it??? Has this worked to promote your business? I know most of you are involved in markets which I am not -- but I really could use some inspiration and help.

Thanks
Cathy

RE: Looking for inspiration

Hi Cathy,
I am currently a restaurant manager, slowly getting into market gardening. I created a flyer for the restaurant for the visitors bureau in our area a few years ago. It's worked magically, and the people at the visitors bureau keep sending us lots of business. The flyer itself has a picture of the business logo with lots of colors to attract attention. The inside has photos along with a story about the uniqueness of the business, and an abbreviated menu, with the promise of more. On the back I googled a map, and gave directions off the major highways in the area. Hope this gives you a start. I'm sure you will be pleased with the results.
Colleen
