Do iceberg poppies have a short or long growing season??

Did you mean Iceland poppy (Papaver nudicaule)? They are one of my favorite biennials. No one should be without this plant in their cutting garden. This flower starts blooming in early summer, and will continue throughout the summer provided you pick the flowers.

Well, the tag said iceberg. Who knows, they are beautiful though:) Any tips on growing them?? Light, soil, water needs?? I think the tags that came with them got thrown away.

Whoever tagged them must have had their brain on autopilot. Iceberg lettuce is a more common thing than Iceland poppies.
