I have some primroses blooming right now that I was thinking of including in cut flower bouquets at market on Saturday. Does anyone else use them? Do they hold up very long?

Hey Steve, If you have the taller varieties like miracle or millers, they can hold for a couple days, you have to harden them off in the cooler or fridge over night first. I really don,t recomend using them in a market bouquet, they may wilt quicker than the rest of the bouquet & make your quality look bad. You want your costomers to keep comimg back. By the way, where are you in VA. I am just west of Charlottesville. Good luck,

I live in Harrisonburg and this will be my first season selling produce and cut flowers at our local farmers market. Do you sell at the Charlottesville market?

Not c'ville market, I have been selling at Nelson Farmers Market on Saturdays for the last 3 years & am expanding to the Verona Market On Wednesdays & Staunton also on Saturdays. I have my app. in for C'ville but there is a long waiting list. Where will you be selling?
