I'd like to use my old fridge to store flowers - does anyone else do that? Should I do anything special with the temp setting? As always - thanks much for help!!!!!!

Just make sure it won't freeze them when the temp drops outside of the fridge! Do a test run with some.

Thanks - I am just going to use it this weekend. I will have more regulated storage in the next week or two. Temps outside are not expected to go below 50 - so the outside temp will be higher than in the fridge - I think that's what you mean, right?

I use a couple of fridges. They don't work on thermostats, just "adjust temperature" knobs, so when it gets a lot colder in the garage where they live, they are prone to freezing. Still, it has to be pretty cold, like around 30-40 degrees, in the garage before the fridges freeze. If I pay attention to the weather forecasts and adjust them before the temp goes down, it's okay. We have very cold nights here. Where you are, in the summertime, I don't imagine it will get that cold.

Thanks for the help - stored some in the fridge for the last two days and it worked wonderfully - now I need a fleet of fridges!

Storing flowers in a fridge

Morning All,

If you are looking to store flowers in fridges, rather than have seral fridges why not invest in a walk in cold room. For details and pricing please visit us at www.business-reply.co.uk, call us on 01527 514191 or email me at luke@business-reply.co.uk
