I am seriously considering buying drip tape and would like advice on where and what type to buy. I visited the drip works site and saw where they have a 8 mill 6inch on center roll of 7500' for 230.00. Is this a good price and the right kind to use for rows of sunflowers, zinnias and celosia.
Hi Rita, last year I put in drip lines for approximately 1/2 acre. I did a google research as well as comparing to HD. I ended up going with Mr Drip on line located in Arizona. They were very helpful on the phone and together we designed my system. I am on a slope and I needed to compensate for that by using the correct style of drip line. Their web site is www.mrdrip.com and I would recomend calling them for specific advice on your needs as they again were very helpfull and it ended up being an easy project. Dana
DripWorks is similarly helpful, if you call them up. I don't know how their prices compare to Mr. Drip, but if they are similar, you might save on shipping costs by picking the one closest to you.

I have Dripworks latest catalog. For T-Tape 7,500' roll, they list 8ml on 4" or 8" centers but not 6" and the price on either of these sizes is $180.00 wholesale. Request one of their catalogues with w/sale prices. Depending upon what else you get from them ie: mainline, fittings, pressure reg, etc, etc, etc. shipping will run you about $30.00 to Tx. We sell drip tape and plastic mulch here in Idaho, we're in Twin Falls. Our price for 2010 on 7500' roll of drip tape is $140. We'd be happy to help if you have questions!
