Shriveled leaves in Physostegia

I'm wondering if someone can help: I've recently observed shriveled leaves in the new growth in my Physostegia (False Dragonhead). Is this 'thrips'? And, if so, how do I get rid of the pest?

RE: Shriveled leaves in Physostegia

Could be thrips. Or aphids. We had ten days of rain with very little sun. We had an outbreak of aphids on the lilies.
If you're not organic, you can use Sevin in spray form.
