Hello,

Tall lavender for cutting: Lavandula x intermedia varieties: grosso, hidcote giant, provence and seal. For fresh bouquets pick stems when only one third or less of the florets are open and change water at least every other day. For dried bouquets, pick stems when only one or two florets are open (number of stems that will fit between thumb and pointer finger in a bunch), wrap with rubberband and hang upside down in a dark, dry and well ventilated room for about two weeks. Keep out of direct sunlight to maintain the color.

Don't know much about lilac other than I love the fragrance.

Hey Blue,

Linda is right on for the tall. I also grow Royal purple, it is not as tall but an excellent plant that is hardy.

I get all my plants a champion acres in oregon you can do a web search.

As for a late pink that a little tuffer for me. Madiens blush is a nice pink but it is earlier. Beauty of moscow is pink in bud but opens white. It is a great one for me.

Do a web search of syriga plus on the east coast they have some pictures. ALso look around your area alot. I usually dig up tons of lilac in my area from plants I like. Thats how I got about 500 to 600 plants that way.

Take care Tim
