Longest-Lasting Flowers for Arrangements?

Any suggestions for long-lasting cut flowers would be greatly appreciated. FYI: I'll be purchasing cut flowers at a local market.

Thanks :)

not sure what will be available this time of year in MD but echinacea/coneflowers & rudbeckia/black-eyed susans have real staying power for me. Hydrangeas get real droopy for me. I am curious about what others say!

RE: Longest-Lasting Flowers for Arrangements?

Droppy hydrangeas can be revived by submerging the flower head into water for 2 to three hours.

I really like double feverfew for cut arrangements. They last a really long time and make a great filler! Ditto for red yarrow.
