Limelight Green Millet

I decided to try the Limelight again this year, even though it did so poorly last year. This season, it's over 3' tall-triple last year's size. I'm wondering what caused the improvement-maybe the drier Spring? Has anyone else had the same results? Also trying successive sowings-I hope the next crop will do as well as the first.

    Sylky,

I'm curious to see what Limelight Green Millet looks like, but when I googled it, there were no images; and, I can't find it in my ornamental grasses book. Could you post what it's botanical name is? [or a photo, if you have one?]

    Thanks,
    Karen

Hi, Karen. There is a photo of it on Johnny's Selected Seeds' site-that's where I purchased the seeds. It's Setaria italica.
