Hi fellow flower lovers

This is probably going to be a dumb question to the experts, but I'm new to most perennials. If I cutting my foxglove, delphiniums, globeflowers, etc. that have a couple of months of blooming season left, will they produce more blooms or is that it for the year. I'm used to annuals such as impatiens, coleus', begonias, which require cutting and pinching for growth and further blooming.

Thanks for any help you can give.
