Question re: Helianthus multiflorus Flore Pleno

Does anyone here grow this perennial sunflower? I bought 3 plants from Bluestone, then realized....does it need to be planted in a certain place in order for its blooms to face towards the center of the garden? For example, I plant annual suns on the west side of our back yard, so that they face the yard, not the neighbor's yard!

I was planning to plant them in a group along a fence and keep them staked up somewhat with peony cages or something. They supposedly grow to about 6 feet, and are very bushy.

I asked the perennial forum, but thought maybe I'd ask some of you too, since nobody has responded yet.
Thanks.
Phyl
