Any growers in Indiana?

Hi all,

I wondered if there were any growers in central Indiana? Without committing to anything without specifics, I would like to learn your terms for a subscription account.

Lime/Suzy,

I just stopped by to lurk a bit here (it's raining).

I was reading with such great pleasure all the wonderful info you provided about 'Daffs'.

I grow a few (daffs), lost tags b4 I realized I'd regret it.
Your name sounds familiar...you are with the IDS? (Haven't lurked here much). I enjoyed the Daff Show hosted by the Southern Indiana Growers at Leota several years. Helen Trueblood, what a sweetie.

I was an inactive member of IDS for a few years, and always wanted to catch one of the sales, but never have. Maybe you could provide me with the info, that I can make it next year, as I suppose this years sale has come and gone.

You just missed our sale yesterday! An easy way to remember is the 4th Sunday of july (in conjunction with the Iris group) and the 4th Sunday in August (in conjunction with the daylily group). At Holliday Park in Indianapolis.

Helen is having another show in Leota on April 7th 2007

Next time you plant bulbs of any kind, plant a vinyl tag with the name written in Sharpie or paint pen right with the bulbs. It won'thelp you when they bloom, but it won't get faded or lost, either. That way, if you get curious enough, you can get the name of the bulb by diggin up the clump. I have started doing it with all plants. I use a yogurt cup cut with a scissors into strips.

If you're close to Cinty, they are having a big daffodil symposium & Bulb sale on Sept 9th at the Civic Center.

Thanks so much Suzy! I have clipped the post so as not to forget any of it.

I'm so thrilled to hear Helen will be having a show in 2007.
I have a very dear friend who always seemed to enjoy the show as much as I did. Then too, there is always the stroll through Helen's gardens, and seeing so many of the 1500+ varieties she has.
