Can I split my annabel Hydrangea? It has gotten too big!

I don't know whether you can divide your Annabell but my gut says yes. I will however add that most folks who are having problems with Annabell getting too long and floppy will prune it back each year at the end of winter. This might be a better solution for you. kt

I think you can. My neighbor gave me a part of her plant that she divided. It did really well.
