Have any of you tried this? What results? This description really caught my attention:
"Messenger and all of our products are based on a new proprietary technology called Harp-N-Tek™ that was discovered at Cornell University. It was called a "Major Scientific Breakthrough" by the USDA and awarded the Presidential Green Chemistry award by the EPA."

I have not used it, but was told about it a few weeks ago. I went to their website and asked if it was an organic product since it got the "green chemistry" award, but have not heard back from them. I am assuming it is not.

RE: Messenger - plant growth enhancer

I used messenger starting end of July. Can't say I've noticed much difference on my flowers. One place I think I there was a difference was on my Birch tree. It gets yellow leaves and I usually use Ortho systemic rose stuff on it. I believe the yellow leaves are caused by leaf minor. As soon as I would see several yellow leaves I would put the ortho granuals around the base and it would clear up. I used the messenger at the end of July, had really hot weather in August, which usually brings out the yellow leaves. But haven't seen another yellow leaf.

I've read a lot of declarations on a different web site that they noticed a big difference with their roses not getting black spot. My one climbing rose so far has never gotten black spot, but I spray messenger on it anyway.

It sounds as if you have any problems with mildew it would be worth a try.

One person thinks it may have been responsible for getting rid of white fly.

I will know a lot more next year when I use it for the entire summer.

Hope this helped.
