ivillage question

I seem to remember there is some way to stop Ivillage from flashing these irritating pink advertisements at me? Can anyone tell me how to stop them?

Thanks,
Kristen (who remembers fondly the Gardenweb of Yore)

I tried to search the hard drive to dump all their cookies. Dumped a lot more :( But the tech guy at DH's office got me back on track and upped my pop up blockers. Doesn't block it all the time (not sure why) but it's a lot better. It got bad for me.
I'd love to voice my distain to TPTB, but my guess is they would just have more info on my via my e-mail to them. They are as bad as spammers.

Switch to using Firefox for your browser. It has automatic popup blocking.

Earlier this year I followed the instructions in the link below (from another GW site).

I was nervous about tinkering with the inner workings of my computer but decided to brave it. It has worked beautifully.
