amazon neon seeds

Hi all,
Do any of you save seeds from amazon neon Dianthus? They are very expensive and I certainly could get a lot of them off my seed heads right now, but didn't know if they'll come true, or if anyone has tried this. Thanks.

| They are F1 hybrid, so seeds wouldn't come true. However, I have found in sowing F1 hybrids that a percentage of the seedlings are like the parent plant. It's always fun to try. |

I should have known that! I don't think I would try sowing such an important plant by saved seed if there is a chance they wouldn't come true. I use a lot of these, and it's nice to know what colors your getting. Thanks.
