Good to see you posting on the Cutting Garden. It has been rather quiet on the forum lately.

We thought about you during the fires last season. Glad you have been getting some rain.

Here in the Upper Midwest it is much too cold. I guess that is to be expected late in December. I have no idea where fall went. We were selling bouquets at the market; and, the next thing I knew we had an enormous amount of snow.

BTW I did receive your email. You should have received my reply.

Glad you posted. A few years from now, you may be happy about those lilacs. Very few growers and they may command some high prices. A book I recently picked up predicted a ten year growth in the demand for woodies.
