| I'd appreciate help in identifying the dahlias below.
The first came from a tuber in a package purchased from a local dahlia society titled "Hollyhills Spiderwoman," a dahlia that was right at the top of the list of varieties that I wanted to grow. I don't think that I have Hollyhills Spiderwoman . . . unless it's morphed. It's not a bad dahlia, just not what I was looking forward to at all. Any idea of what I do have? The second I think might be Tahiti Sunrise. I got the tuber from a bunch my 87 year old mom had that was labeled "Maybe Versa." I'm thinking . . . maybe not Versa. But I know that she picked up a Tahiti Sunrise tuber last year. The only thing that bothers me about that identification is that the red is more of a rosy red than I expected. Any help with identifying these plants? |

| I'm not proficient with posting pictures. The picture in the first message is the one that might be Tahiti Sunrise. |

| Hi Phyllis, I think you'd be good on calling that one Tahiti Sunrise. It looks very much like mine from some recent year. I don't always get the same vivid colors of full-sun growers, but this looks very close to me. ![]() |
