| Hope I didn't post this already- it is taking an age to upload huge photos to photobucket. Got the camera figured out now to make that go faster- poor you guys!
From the Willow collection: Kasagi. Thanks Willow! Lots of blooms of vibrant yellow tipped in red. I love it!
Prince Valiant. I like the splashy, variegated colors- mine are magenta on white, not "dark red" as advertised, but that's OK. The stems are wimpy for me- not OK.
I gave Lupin Bernie a chance: it's pretty blotchy, but I will let it try to produce something more appealing. Nice medium purple and white with that delicate 'brushstroke of color' appearance on the tips.

| Lupin Bernie is a dandy-they're all dandies for that matter. Kasagi seems to glow like like campfire embers. Nice photo. |

| You're welcome Poochella, wait to you dig that bad boy up, you'll have more tubers than you know what to do with. Looks great in a fall bouquet. |
|
Wildwood Marie: waterlily in deep pink/yellow Rejman's Polish Kid- a nice brick red and white checkered look on small blooms of 2.5-3 inches. I think it's supposed to be taller and larger than this, but I still like it. Honka is opened! Well almost opened. Lots of buds and blooms all of a sudden on this one. I like it Willow! White Nettie- a little bigger than regular yellow Nettie, but equally nice pompon. |

| Poochella, I love Honka too! Now you have " stars " in your garden! Your honka is fully opened, the petals always look like that, they have a curl to them. The petals don't open flat, That's a perfect honka you've got there. Congrats and enjoy |
|
| Hey, where'd my Honka go? I see the red X now. Gremlins again. Here are some more, I've been slow to post. And I want to add that I have a second Prince Valiant in better sun whose stems are NOT wimpy at all and produces bigger blooms, so my comment above should be applied only to the little 3 foot plant who didn't get enough sun or nutrients or whatever. Bring Honka Back! Lauren Michelle- a better picture of its true color, dark underpetals, dark edges and paler purple on top. Aurwen's Violet- a spicy little pompon ~1.5 inches around on a 3 ft bush. It gives a fair amount of flowers too. Wendy's Place another 3 ft pompon in deep dark purple. I love this one. Barberry Atlantean- a bigger Ball in medium purple LOL I chose alot of round purple ones this year! Also have Mingus Wallace and Willo's Borealis which is just about ready to bloom- I hope. Brookside J Cooley- funny name for a cute little flower in bright yellow. Blunted tips on petals make this different. Hot Pink Fans alert: Canby Centennial Bright fuschia with paler edging, about 6 inches across. This plant was really sluggish and short, but finally paid off. I think it's supposed to be 4 ft tall, mine is barely 2. Next year it will have a better location and we'll see what happens. another new laciniated one: Caproz Razbr'y Twinkle one in focus to show the shape, one blurry to show the more true dark berry color. About 5-6 inches across. Chiquita- google it! You'll find next to nothing. I don't know its history but I like the big (7-8 inch) fluffy monster in kind of a coral pink with gold edging and centers. single shot of Devon Citation- ooh a nice white pointy one, about 6 inches across and deep. Would add beauty and grace to a white garden for sure. Malevolent Garden Helper named Mo. He has the nasty habit of launching up your back if you so much as bow your head tending dahlias, let alone stooping or bending over slightly. It's always a surprise to have 17 lbs with claws land on your unsuspecting back. Perhaps that explains the unused bird feeder? Biggest dahlia bed in background. Fatima- can't recall if I posted it or not here. A hot pink 2 inch little beauty on 3 ft bush. Like the poms, I like a smaller bloom here and there to break up the large ones in a vase. If you need to wake up tired eyes: look at Helen's Alvin Sr. Fiery red orange with yellow. It is only about half open here. A very large fluffy fireball ensued! Absolutely welcome with other yellows, oranges and reds. Blurry Hy Salvia, but you get an idea of the rich red velvet color on this 6+ inch bloom. The shape is a bit oblong here, not the norm. I really must try to focus better! The huge and undeniable Otto's Thrill 9 inches across. Medium pink with gold highlights. That's all for now, time to cut flowers!

| Lauren Michelle is to die for. How big is the bloom? I'm not much on purples but I could be reformed, LOL |

| They are all beautiful- all those I can see. I got several red x on these pics, though. How can I see more? |
|
| I see them all. Well done. |
|
| Willow, Lauren Michelle is 5 ft tall, blooms from 3-4, maybe 5 inches across. Really a lovley waterlily- the highlight for me being the edges all surrounded in the darker purple of the underpetals; something just a little different. Pitimpani, email me which ones you get Red X's on and I'll email you a photo. |
