Don't think I posted CG Coral last year.

Aitara Diadem.
Like the bright raspberry on this one.

All those flawless blooms! Doesn't look like the bugs have gotten to you yet. So lucky....

Haven't seen an earwig since May using Sluggo Plus. Someone is nibbling the tips of Hawaii blooms consistently though. Haven't found the culprit yet.

Colorado Classic is opening. BB ID DB It's supposed to have more hot pink, but our lack of sun leaves mine lighter. Still looks like a lovely one for cutting.

I got this one as a freebie from Arrowhead this year but it rotted during the week in Spring that we had 5 days of rain in a row. Love the shape of the petals on this one.

We are allowed to have pinks out front for the neighbors to look at. So are glad to see these.

Your neighbors have WAY too much power over you! Or is it Mrs. Craftsman who dictates the color schemes?

That was Colorado Classic early on, The end result is even pinker, fuller. Quite acceptable in my book. Our summer has been sorely lacking in heat, so your color results may vary.

Close up of the coloration.

Wyn's Fiesty Frieda: one I spotted in their vast dahlia beds/fields and wanted instantly for the rich color, form and stems. She's tall. She's between the richest pink and purple I've seen.

Aitara Diadem opened fully. A spectacular bloom, chockful of petals.

Linht, just for you, I saw 3 earwigs and a huge caterpillar in the dahlias today. Caterpillar had devoured a good section of a flower already.

I asked the wife when I started this spring what she would like out front. She stated that she would like the lavenders and purples the most. Pinks would be ok, but please no reds. So I keep the reds in the back gardens.

Very nice of you to accommodate her Viking. I have an entire bed devoted to whites, lavenders, blends of the two, purples, and a few reds mixed in. Now, if they would all bloom, I could see how they look together.

All of them absolutely gorgeous, Poochella. I MUST TRY COLORADO CLASSIC NEXT YEAR!

 o
bugs!!

I've resorted to sacrificing a few blooms so the bugs can have their meal in hopes that they'll leave the other ones untouched on each plant.

Hillcrest Kismet was one I forgot to add on this year. What a classic! Always so perfect.
