My goodness those are stunning! Do you ever trade tubers, or offer SASE's? I personally have just a small collection for now, but I am sensing a growing addiction :) Anna

You'll have to pardon my ignorance...but what is SASE's? *blushing* I started out a couple years back with just 2 dahlias. And now I have about 20 different kinds and already looking at more for next year! LOL For sure I'd be interested in trades. You are in Canada so that'd make it much easier :) Do you have a list of what you are growing or willing to trade for? :) Nikki~

Well, SASE is Self Addressed Stamped Envelope, but that is mostly for seeds. Alas, I have not much to offer in return, but the summer's not over yet. I have some unknowns about to bloom (I know what I ordered, but did not label them last year). For example, I was thrilled to see Kelvin Floodlight appear last week - a stunning surprise! I will be better organized this year (I didn't know I could write directly on the tubers). By the way - where do you order your dahlias from within Canada? Thanks, Anna

Ohhhhh be sure to post your unknowns so we can all see ;) I ordered from Fercliff Gardens here in BC. They were just great to order from. I ordered about $300 worth of tubers and they thru in 8 extras. They were wonderful to deal with. I'll leave the Link below. They have a wonderful selection of dahlias, peonies, daylilys and Iris'. Have a look! I quite enjoy still looking at the site (keeping my eyes open for next year ;) Nikki~

Those are drop dead gorgeous Redd! Three cheers. I am really interested in Lemon Drop. How big did yours get across and vertically? Lovely color. I am sure I would like Wine and Roses but it's so slow here, am afraid it's one I'm going to have to weed out. I saw two flowers last year, in late October. Lovely lovlies you have grown there- thanks for posting.

Thank you very much Poochella! I'm VERY proud of my boys n' girls. They've done very well this year! My Lemon drops got to approx 4' or so (as expected) and it's classed as Miniature....4". I'd have to say it's a titch bigger than Bristal Spartan...They're in the same class according to where I purchased them. I'll be sure to post more tonight :) Nikki~

Nikki, those last two are pretty....I haven't seen them before. Your Papageno, looks lighter than mine. Sierra

I had a Papageno but it always blew in the middle. It went to the disguard pile.My Pat Feary grew over 7 ft this year. It must have had hundreds of blooms over the season. My Aztec Gold was late blooming this year. You must order from Ferncliff too.
