Whites, Pastels and Light Blends

First up: My Love was a new on in 07 but I grew it in a pot, and this one grown in the garden is just much more fabulous. Jroot said it: "The first blooms are always the best." A lazy bee thought it was grand enough to snooze on for any length of time despite my meddling with a camera.

3- 3.5 ft plant and excellent pure white blooms.

Such perfect form on this one. Gorgeous! No more pots for me either.

To be fair to dahlias in pots, I've got a couple that are doing much worse in the garden this year that were potted in 07. Go figure!

Here'e Minnesota, B sized ID. Mine is anemic compared to this at Abloom Gardens, but I still like it.

Very pretty! I feel I should be growing this one considering where I am.

You SHOULD be growing it, it has lots of blooms. If I have an extra tuber, I'll save one just for you.

Spike is opening! It is hidden behind this towering 8 ft dahlia- so unpredictable. Last year the towering one was 4 ft...sigh. Spike is a robust plant for sure.

Enjoy your Spike, poochella. Spider mites and other pests are starting to take over mine.
