| Thank you, everyone for kind encouragement. I just ventured into growing Dahlias this year.
A lot of them rotted, others slooooowly began to bloom. As of 9/11/2005, many have yet to show buds. We are going through a major drought in history. There are also a lot of earwigs and cucumber beetles eating everything up. I even saw a large green bug (?) eating the flowers. Camano Phantom. A freebie from Camano. It is actually much darker than the photo.
Camano Pet. This one began to bloom in July:
Goodwill 90. Thank you, Poochella! You can have any of these, you know.

Rommel’s Mountain:

Whooey...I didn't know I hadn't resize the pics small enough. My apology. I am still a newbie with this digital stuff. :-) |

| Thank, Jroot. Too bad you live in Canada or I could mail you tubers. :-) |
|
| Pitimpanai- lovely blooms and a wonderful arrangment. You have a real talent there! What are the tall spikey yellows on either side of the purple top dahlia? I recognize the goldenrod to the left, but not the spikey yellows. Camano Pet is lovely. And Alpen x. Nothing wrong with Sangria either LOL! They're all lovely! |

| Poochella, Thank you for the compliments. All these were based on your and everyone's suggestions and ideas, you know. :-) Tall spikey yellow? I believe it is the goldenrod - Solidago Wichita Mountain. I planted several varieties of goldenrods and as always am awful with keeping tags around. I'll send you a division of this next spring, OK? Camano Pet, Alpen x & Karma Sangria will be on their way to the PNW this fall. :-D That is if they make it through this strange weather (turned my AC back on this evening) and that I learn how to divide the tubers. :-) |

| Thanks, Willow. I wanted them for arrangements in late summer/fall. I just hate the idea of digging them up every fall, though. |
