| Nikki LOL on the Canada question! That is a dramatic, beautiful flower. I had "Akita No Hikari" but it frumped along and I finally pulled it at about a foot tall to find a totally rotten tuber. If those are the same flower, then I really missed out this year. Enjoy that flower! |

| Hello, did you ever see the dahlia Vancouver? That is also a beautiful dahlia and must be a sister of Akita. I will have a look on my PC, may be I have a new picture. Regards from Germany |

| I grew both last year. Akita is a sport of Vancouver. I could only tell them apart by form - Akita was a deeper fluffier flower. |
