My tuber of Rev.P.Holien did not grow so well. I saw a pic of someone else's RP Holien on gardenbuddies and their's was a huge, full plant. Mine is barely 2 feet tall and has about 5 sets of leaves.

Xenon is one of my few LC's that did not produce some open centered ugliness.

Just because this is my new favorite, big, bright purple...
Here are some better views of Formby Kaitlyn.

Really nice linht. Colors would fit into my garden some where. Is the color correct with what your eyes see. I know I take a lot of shots in different conditions to get the correct color. Even in different light some of the flowers color changes.

Oh the envy.... I got Formby Kaitlyn in a trade this year, but alas no eyes. No eyes, no plant.

Your photo of Rev. P Holien is just stunning. I think it's the closest to capturing the velvet quality of a dahlia's petals that I've ever seen online, linht, and that is a lot of viewing! Beautiful.

Xenon is lovely as well. Light and airy, bright and fiesty!

Thanks guys!!
Viking, the colors on these photos are very close to the actual thing. Formby Kaitlyn is a bit darker purple though.
