Late in the season, on one of the colder days, my usually active bees slowed down significantly. In fact, this one stayed on this dahlia (Fire and Ice) all day! It was "stinging" the centre of the flower over and over again - it was most unusual. Later on in the month, it was much colder and I found 3 little guys all clustered together on another dahlia, motionless - it was kind of sad.
