Oops, it's that time of year again. We're fortunate in MA we haven't had snow yet. I'm NOT looking forward to it. Keeping thinking about Spring being around the corner.

Nice picturesque back yard. Stange, I don't see any of those double dahlias there in the second photo. LOL. They are all put to bed and sleeping soundly with visions of sugar plums dancing in their heads, ... just waiting for the warm sun of spring. LOL

Oh what I would give for a level back yard. Mine is totally on a slope. It makes it really hard for gardening, except in layers.

But isn't a new snowfall clean and pretty. We had 4 inches and got 2 more.
Besides, I was ready for a gardening break.

First inspection of tubers found 4 or 5 with sprouts. I didn't break them off___just hustled them back in the cooler and told them it was too early. Just nestle down in your saran wrap and sleep for another month or so.

Poochella, the pix are wonderful, but you almost gave me a stroke! My Dahlias right now have just broken ground and when I saw all the pix I thought "what the h....?" Then I saw the dates on the posts and am feeling much better! LOL!!!Pat
